The Shoe Guest House

Located amidst a farming community and surrounded by mountains, The Shoe Guest House outside Ohrigstad offers rustic and christian inspired chalet accommodation with barbecue facilities. It offers a tea garden and outdoor pool. The simply decorated and stone-built cottages are fitted with a TV, seating area and a kitchenette with microwave and a refrigerator. The Shoe Guest House is going solar, and each cottage will be provided with 1 free bag of firewood for the fireplace and hot water bottles during the winter months. Breakfast and light meals can be ordered at the Tea Garden. There is also a mini-marke, where additional firewood can be purchased. Other facilities at the Shoe include a garden, a games room, and a children's playground. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including hiking. Guided walks to a man made cave can be arranged. The guest house is 3.2 miles from the Echo Caves. Located on the Panorama Route, the Blyde River Nature Reserve is a 30-minute drive away.
