The Rex Hotel is located in the heart of Kalamata's historical center, which can be found on the Aristomenous pedestrian street. Given that it operates since 1899, it is the most historical hotel in the city and is housed in one of Kalamata's first neoclassical buildings that dates back to the end of the 19th century. 1999 marks the full renovation of the Rex Hotel and the reopening of its renewed and upgraded services and amenities to the public.
